DEAR, my name is

Prashanth Cattaneo, some of you know me, others not, but this is not important to know what hour I will tell you, so there will be a necessary prerequisite to assess the invitation that I will try in this letter is to propose.

Lecco I am a young, recently graduated in Science Education with a passion for contemporary art and museums. I strongly believe in the cultural and social dimensions of a city, are in fact voluntary association working in developing countries and in Italy for global education, particularly through the expressive languages \u200b\u200bof all peoples, I have formed in a Salesian school attentive to interpersonal relationships and different social issues such as education, culture, youth and communication, it is then also become a profession whereas I write for a newspaper in our city.

All these things that I have briefly listed me motivated and encouraged to join the Democratic Party: a party in which I strongly believe and where I have put a lot of wishes and hopes for a renewal of our country and its institutions .

So I started - a few months - to attend the Club Lecco 2 (where they are now a member of the Co-ordination) to learn what actually mean "playing politics" and also to give my little contributo alla mia Città che penso possa essere ripensata affinché sia maggiormente dinamica e vivace come altre in Italia, e come molte altre dei diversi paesi europei.

Durante una riunione di Circolo, senza che me l’aspettassi, mi è stato proposto, da alcuni responsabili del Partito Democratico Cittadino, di provare a dare vita ad un gruppo di giovani lecchesi, simpatizzanti dell’azione del Partito (ma non necessariamente tesserati). Giovani che avessero manifestato interesse nelle precedenti campagne elettorali del PD, ma anche giovani nuovi alla politica, ma animati dal desiderio to build something new to give a signal to the current Lecco. One group, a team, a network capable of launching a constructive proposals for greater involvement of younger generations in the life of the city. And this in the upcoming municipal elections that will be a first sign of change from past administrations Lega.

So I contacted some of you starting from the contacts collected by PD Lecco in the past, and then I heard some friends who I know want a strong alternative to the city that until now there they did see and experience (in passive mode). Some of You will stand reading this without knowing anything about this "yard", and my hope is that will accept this invitation in the certainty that we can change our whole city.

to learn, to understand what to do together and how to give life to a construction project for OUR LECCO, I invite you Thursday, December 17, at 21:00 at the Headquarters of the PD Lecco, in Parini 35 (white building in the monumental cemetery). It will be an informal meeting at which you can invite all your young friends who are convinced, like you, that good ideas require work to be shared and actions to make history.

I believe much in this challenge. We expect many in ensuring that this first step could be the beginning of that other Lecco that both hope will become to our city in which to live by actors and active citizens.
